I have known my ONE for almost five years. We met at the gym. We have worked out together, participated in triathlons together, and have shared meals with one another. Since I’ve known my ONE, I’ve been aware that she doesn’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In fact, she barely knows anything about him. She was raised in Germany, and her parents never took her to church.

I have tried to show my ONE through my words and actions that I personally know Christ. I have said things like, “I’ll be praying for you,” and, “What a beautiful day God has given us.” I have even blessed her food and invited her to church. However, I have never actually told her about the love of Christ and what he did for the world on Calvary.

At the end of 2010, the Lord started working on my heart. The Holy Spirit began urging me to share the Good News with my ONE. Of course, as I sometimes do, I began reasoning with God by saying to him, “What if I offend her? Maybe I should wait until she asks me about you.”

First and most importantly, pray.
